LABELING REQUIREMENTS IN RUSSIA (continued)

Similar strict labeling requirements apply to cosmetic, personal hygiene and dental care products.

Household chemicals and cleaning agents must be relevantly labeled (in addition to above requirements) and if the material is flammable (naturally enough it should provide warning in Russia that material is flammable or poisonous or is hazardous in any other way), then it cannot be sold in glass containers larger than 1 litre (liter).

In addition to the above, tools, hardware or any non-consumable product must also be labeled in such a way as to provide the perspective purchaser or user with
company profile
technical specifications for the relevant product (can be enclosed on a separate sheet with instructions on where it is to be found)
safety warnings, information and instructions
design philosophy and whether the product can be used in different climatic conditions. State temperatures under which the product can be used.
a list of accessories or spare parts shipped with the product, if applicable, and where the spare parts or accessories can be obtained.
